Nerd

I titled the blog that to hopefully have a reverse physiology affect. In other words that whilst reading this blog, you will think the opposite of nerd even though this might be abit nerdy.
So I got my WII and really have been loving the time it steals away from my life. It all works out pretty well as it can make for some good Brangie time and/or give me a chance to just relax when I get home from work. I have been playing alot of Smash Brothers and even though I am still not really any good, it is still a blast. Today at work I edited and photoshopped a picture of my favorite characters simply because I was bored and I am amazingly huge dork. I thought it looked pretty cool but isn't that how it usually goes, it's cool to you and nobody else. Well usually for me anyway.




So these are a couple of the games that I am sure will be in the near future, mainly because they just look so freakn' awesome.
Now I hope we can just get a good laugh and move on from the fact that yes I just blogged about my wii.

Best Time Ever

So it has been a while since I have taken the time to write anything. Just to say and the leave it at that 'Europe" was great. I got to relax and see friends and all that jazz. So enough said about that as it is my return I would like to speak more about.
So I got home late Monday to dieing heat. The heat sucks here in Las Vegas and driving without AC, it is tough. So as the days came I realized that I was actually missed, surprised me too. I didn't have to pay for a meal for about 3 days and not only that but I got to go to all my favorite places to eat! Yeah it was pretty much amazing. As if great food wasn't enough, I did become involved with a great girl. Since I spoke of my food first before her, I feel as if should be worried but there are only a few people that read this, soooo I'm not that worried. So things just kept getting better and I was seeing friends again and what not. So Sunday comes along and I get to celebrate my birthday with my family, after about a week and a half. So I open my present and guess what I get?! Yes a Wii!!!! I felt my life was pretty near complete.

Who would have thought I would actually get a request to continue 'blogging.' So it turns out people actually do read this, never would have thought. The only real reason I haven't written anything recently has been that I just forgot. I discovered I could watch movies at work and that seems to be more exciting then typing out a blog.
I thought this time I could boast abit about the recent pranks that have taken place involving myself. During the last few DAYS I have been rather mischievous. So without revealing names I will briefly walk you through some of the hilarious antics that have taken place.
The first one was on 'Triple A', we will call this individual. During our recent California trip Triple A's friend, which will now be called....I couldn't think of a nickname so he/she won't get one, and I got to talking and decided that we wanted to pull a prank on Triple A. So we decided since Triple A wasn't on the trip, we could easily convince them that something happened between us on the trip ( I guess I stop with the he/she stuff, or maybe just let everybody keep guessing on which side of the bridge I fish from) So long story short we keep it going, asking questions about each other and trying to get info from Triple A, allowing Triple A to think she was helping build a relationship when it was really us just messing with them. Of course there are lines to be drawn and I felt like it was getting close so I ended the prank. Mean huh?
I will admit that was good but not near as good as the one still going on now. I will write about it with risk of them finding out but all good things must come to an end. This one will be a quick end as I am done typing already. So this week I take off for Utah to work for a few weeks up there, so I have, 'Angry Creek' will be this persons nickname, thinking I am going to Europe. Things just seem to have worked out perfectly with this one as every question had an answer and without saying anything my friends seem to know how to keep it going. So Angry Creek will also be getting 'souvenirs' from 'Europe'. Still I can't help but think that I will have to say something for the purpose of not letting it get to far. Of course I would to tell more of how it has all worked out so wonderfully but like I said I am done typing.
One last thing.......Betsy did say I needed to mention her name in this. I will remind her that she was involved in toilet papering my house sometime ago. I hope this will be a lesson in my pranking and manipulative abilities, even though it is only the tip of the iceberg. Her time will come!

Splinter Cell

So it was a sad day yesterday, even with a great FHE and another Indiana Jones movie. My time of splinter cell has passed as it was finally beaten yesterday. I felt as if apart of me was washed away in a river of tears.

The week off

So because my hours have been running out for the fiscal year, I have been sort of forced to take some time off. It's not such a bad thing as I have worked it out to get the same amount each paycheck that I did during school plus vacation time over the summer. So last week was one of those weeks. It was also exam time so I wasn't completely bored but I did have my moments. The only problem is I will have near 2 1/2 weeks off in June and I basically got all the stuff done I needed to do in those 2 1/2 weeks, in the 2 days I had off last week. That and I think I am about to beat Splinter Cell, then what am I going to do with my life? What makes it even worse is Elliot is gone and Turk is now with Carla, so that leaves JD abit lonely and bored. Since Scrubs seems to near outline mine and Dallin's life, we often refer to things in Scrubs code. Anyway, I have a few ideas, which means I have some projects that I will be starting and hopefully finishing during that time. Some of which might increase my creative abilities and some are really just complete time wasters.
As for now I have returned back to work with the exact same mind numbing tasks that I left a week ago. The only difference now is I have no school to take up some of the time. I am glad that Scrubs has alot of stuff on youtube to watch but at the same time, that in itself can only take up so much time. I defiantly know that they only have so much for me to do at work anyway. I guess I should be glad I get some time off, that way my brain has time to jump start itself again from doing nothing. So what is really going to happen is I am going to be doing nothing at work to doing nothing at home, great change yeah? Well that in itself is still up the air as I think there is a big possibility I might a side job up in Utah. But then it is still Utah and I don't think I have ever been there for more then a week in a row.
I am excited for the summer though. I got some pretty exciting trips planned and there will always be more coming spur of the moment. Surprising enough, more then one of them are to Utah, and I am excited to go.

Boredom and Actuaries (not together)

So today at work has been pretty horrible. I have been on this project since the middle of November 2007 and I am about 1/4 of the way done. The plan was to have the other student works I work with would be doing it as well but the problem with that is they have other to do. So I am stuck with it near by myself. It has become very tedious. So after creating some more 'trio' pictures I decided to see if it is possible for you to die of boredom. These were some of the links I found.

Marriage and Video Games

Now just recently I was updating my facebook page. It was a while since I did, so I thought I could take a few minutes and add a few things. Well at one point I accidentally set my status to 'married'. As soon as I saw my mistake I changed it, but the damage was done. The status of my marriage break up soon hit the feed and then I got some wall posts of people expressing their sorrow. Although they knew it was fake, it made me think about marriage. Nothing too deep, being I don't even have a girlfriend, but just about proposing. Then I remembered this clip from the office......



So I thought it was a very humorous idea even though it could result in getting ignored for a bit or maybe even some physical pain. I mean it even fits to what seems to be the mormon norm, find a girl friend and get ready to propose after a week or so. Then I remember this comic from ctrlaltdel.com and I knew it fit perfectly.



















I think this is hows it's going to go down for me. I mean it's combining two great things. Pushing the limits of my humor and video games, more importantly giving me a chance to play video games for a good cause. I think this post just might keep me single a bit longer.
